Rising costs associated with their current cleaning system and a need to maintain an ever increasing standard of patient care saw the cleaning team at Tameside NHS contact Arrow.

The Problem

It's an environment where maintaining good hygiene standards couldn't be more important: serving over 30,000 patients across more than 20 square miles of hospital buildings, the staff at Tameside NHS wanted something reliable and easy to maintain that could be used to hold and carry cleaning products across hospital facilities.

Our Solution

Following an in-depth assessment of the hospital's cleaning processes, we recommended our bespoke modular trolley system. Unlike other trolley systems, these trollies can be configured exactly to meet users' requirements - not only allowing the Trust to manage their cleaning more effectively, but becoming a vital part of their deep cleaing routine. At Tameside, we created a trolley designed to maximise infection control, featuring a pre-dosed mopping system, high-capacity internal storage cupboard and a secure waste disposal unit to promote best-practice cleaning across the hospital. The trollies were an instant success and, following a successful trial period, were introduced across the hospital.

In the words of Daniel, Domestic Manager at the hospital:

"The trollies have been a lifesaver with regards to deep cleaning, particularly during COVID...they have the room for all our usual cleaning supplies plus the extra equipment we needed and we will be placing another order soon"
